Matthew Wukasch - 2009 US Masters Time Trial National Champion

No matter how great the bike or how light the components, if the body does not fit the machine it will fail you. This year I raced for Champion Porsche and Racers Edge bike shop. Furthermore, I had the pleasure to be properly bike fitted by John from The Racers edge.

I broke my back a little of a year ago due to a crazy sprinting pile up. I came back from that injury only to have persistent pain in my back, especially when doing high mileage training. Early this season John Palquist fitted me on the team road bike. Within a month my back pain went away. Priceless.

Later in the season John Palmquist fitted me on my on my TT bike. He used some very sophisticated technology as well has his recently acquired knowledge from the Retul fit certification. Though the changes seemed minor, they made dramatic improvements in both my aero position and my ability to sustain higher wattage over longer periods of time. These changes help me win a US National Championship in the 2009 Masters Time Trial.

The BMC Promachine your shop sold and built for me has brought me a tremendous amount of gratification in the short time I’ve owned it. The staff has made knowledgeable recommendations and suggestions along the way, and I greatly appreciate your guidance.

Equally as important, my bike performs the same on race day as it did the first time I rolled it out of the shop. I have yet to win a race on it, but it has taken me to the podium twice in 09. The Racers Edge has truly made my season a success.
